Lakmé Academy Powered by Aptech was the official beauty & styling partner for the Perfect Mrs. India beauty pageant. Lakmé Academy students had the exclusive backstage access wherein they did hair and makeup for all the contestants for 3 rounds of the beauty pageant.
The students showcased their hair & makeup skills by creating different, impressive looks for the contestants for all the rounds. Not only they got a very real experience of working backstage for a live show, but they also learned client management and time management to deliver perfect looks that suit the client's expectations, are well in sync with the show's theme and timelines.

EVENTSBackstage Drama
In this contest by Lakmé Academy, the students got to showcase their advance makeup and hairstyling skills by creating very complex looks. The students teamed up to create The Gothic Goddess, The Marine Life and The Shimmer In Neon looks that were impressive and on-point.
The enthusiasm in the students to move out of their comfort zone and attempt these complex looks was palpable. They practised hard and displayed an impressive range of creative skills & capability.
Three teams went on to win the gold, silver and bronze prize in the competition.

Style Your FutureStyle Your Future gave a golden opportunity for the young minds interested in careers in beauty & wellness, to attend exclusive masterclass by Lakmé experts. With detailed sessions on Skin Care, Makeup and Hair Care, the audience got to see the experts' work style and learn some useful tips & tricks of the trade.
The experts also helped the students understand the career scope in all the domains in the beauty industry and the demand for trained beauticians in the market. The event also saw impeccable work of Lakmé Academy students, wherein they did beauty & makeup for a fashion show and skit, which was immensely appreciated by the audience.
