The Showcase 2023

Lakmé Academy powered by Aptech organized the biggest mega-beauty championship of the year, The Showcase, on the 12th of January 2023 in Goa. The Showcase witnessed participation from the students across the nation in three categories - Hair & Makeup, Skin and Nails.

The Showcase act as a one-of-a-kind platform for all our students. More than 2,000 students across the nation had participated in The Showcase. The first round was held at the centre level and the participants had put their best foot forward. The first round of The Showcase acted as a qualifier round for the grand finale. More than 400 students were selected for the grand finale who were further divided into 80 teams. The round 1 of the grand finale witnessed 80 teams participating and competing against each other in the hair & makeup category. The models walked the ramp followed by which the results for round 1 were announced. The top 15 teams made their entry to round 2 of the grand finale.

The ace Bollywood director & choreographer Farah Khan, top stylist Samant Chauhan, Ms. Anupama Katyal (National Creative Director Makeup - Lakmé), Ms. Pooja Singh (National Creative Director Hair - Lakmé), Mr. Pushkaraj Shenai (CEO and Wholetime Director - Lakmé Lever), Mr. Pravir Arora (CMO, Aptech Limited) were the esteemed panel members judging the final round of The Showcase. The evaluation was followed by the announcement of top three winning teams – Gold, Silver & Bronze in the hair & makeup category. The Showcase also witnessed participation in the Nail and Skin category.

The competition that saw 2000+ registrations, 3 rounds and 75+ finalists, concluded with top 3 contestants in each category.
